Services

We view participation in decision-making, exercising personal choice, gaining a sense of self-direction and independence as a critical action for maintaining hope and purpose. We believe each person is valuable, and that all Resident’s have the right to maximize their individual choices and abilities. Our goal is to help each resident develop to their fullest potential in a loving and caring environment. As a subset of this goal, each of our residents has a private room thoughtfully prepared and neutrally decorated. We encourage each resident to bring their own ideas to make each room their own.
Staff
The staff of New Seasons is trained to develop caring relationships with residents that exhibit thoughtfulness, patience, and understanding. Our staff also respects each resident’s opinions and preferences. Every effort is made to accommodate each Residents' needs and to work with difficult behaviors as necessary.
By doing so we hope to enhance the self-worth of each resident and develop relationships that last over time. We also encourage the development of a community among the residents. The needs and preferences of residents to maintain and develop ties to their personal communities and relationships are valued, supported and facilitated. Residents are asked what community events they would like to participate in, and are taken to those events. Residents are also encouraged to gain or regain independence by participating in their assisted daily living activities (ADL’s).
We also effort to understand the needs and preferences of individuals who are isolated from the community. Some may have lost significant relationships or community connections and require special attention.
In order to address our residents' needs physically, mentally, and spiritually they need to feel like they are part of a family as well as the community they live in.
Transportation to and from the religious activities of their choice is also available.
